Chiya Center & Cafe was born from a simple belief: that the best conversations happen over a warm cup of tea. Located in the vibrant neighborhood of Jhamsikhel, Lalitpur, we set out to create a space where the rich traditions of Nepali tea culture meet modern comfort.
What started as a small tea corner has grown into a full-service cafe with over 130 menu items, private cabins for meetings and celebrations, and a reputation for serving the most authentic matka masala tea in the valley.
Every dish we serve — from our signature pork momo to the sizzling sekuwa — is prepared with love, fresh ingredients, and recipes that honor our Nepali heritage.
